Smawo is a UI/UX concept for a smart wake up application. Its designed to be used with a dock for additional features. The goal of the project was to give the users the ability to start their morning with an individually tailored wake up routine.
The concept includes integrations for various smart home manifacturers as well as APIs for third party apps to be used inside so called wake up scenes.
The smartphone of the user gets snapped onto a dock that supports wireless charging.
The color palette was chosen to be mainly in a dark blueish tone which prevents that the user gets dazzled in the night. The home screen uses a radial gradient that mimics the night sky and a high contrast font color supports the readability.
Some special UI components are the day picker and the circular time picker.
